You or Your means you as a participant in or as a user of eLearn Life Skills’ websites.  We or Our or Us means eLearn Life Skills websites.

Section 1 – Collection of Information

When you make a purchase from our websites, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give such as your name, address and email address.  This enables us to fulfill and support the products you purchase.  We may also use this information to add you to one of our mailing lists, which you will always have the opportunity to opt-out.

The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the Site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology; however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return of a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason.  We deem these purposes to be primary consent reasons.

Your personal information may also be used for secondary consent reasons, (i.e. newsletter subscription and email marketing). Each communication we send provides you with an opportunity to withdraw your consent.

We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. With the exception as stated above, we do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third parties, including but not limited to advertisers, strategic partners or vendors.

Section 4 – Data Storage

Our course and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product/services to you.

Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.

Section 5 – Cookies/Tracking Technology

We collect cookies or similar tracking technologies. This means information that our website’s server transfers to your computer. This information can be used to track your session on our website.
